Ella Purdy

A collection of monoprints illustrating the small moments of closeness and companionship that exist between two people in love. The purpose of this project was to create an insight into the experience of love through the documentation of the small day to day moments of tenderness and unity that love consists of, as a way of presenting an insight into a relationship between two people. This work intends to communicate a peaceful and gentle atmosphere through illustrating subtle moments of embrace or sharing a space in the world together.

A collection of images produced throughout the project was chosen as the outcome as an appropriate means of depicting a selection of ‘small moments’ supposedly occuring over a period of time.
